LC9 ammo question

I recently purchased a new LCP. I have consistent failures to eject with UMC ammo, but Buffalo Bore (95 and 100 grain) are fine.

Should I contact Ruger about the problem with the UMC, or consider it a specific ammo problem and be happy that I've found a brand that works?

Also, if there is a favorite ammo post, please let me know where it is.

Thanks for any and all opinions.

Joe

I can't shoot Remington UMC through mine. I shot 100 rounds of Federal today with no problems. Loaded a magazine with the Remington UMC, racked the slide back and it wouldn't go into battery. I found out today that the Remington is a little shorter than the others that I've used. Not sure if that is the problem or not.

Blazer is a good choice also, might give that a try.

I have run about 60 rounds of UMC with out a issue.

Did have a light strike with WWB (once)
Other then that no problems..

Lateck,

Your title says: "LC9 ammo question" but in your text you are asking about an LCP.

I have both, and I found long ago, that my LCP wouldn't even chamber certain Corbon ammo, but runs on everything else. My LC9 runs on everything so far, but I must admit, I have not used UMC; Federal, WW, and many of my own reloads.

I've had no problems with 115 fmj gr WB, 124 gr Speer Lawman+p and my reloads of Rainier 115 gr RN. I have some Magtech my buddy gave me to try, I think 95 gr hp's??
