I'm going to bet the new guy, only one post, went back and jumped past the 5 or 8 pages of warnings in the owner's manual and actually got around to reading the disassembly and re-assembly instructions and figured it out on his own... I've had more trouble getting these 'Glock type' pistols apart and back together than anything else in my life. I really don't know how you folks put up with it. For years I thought the Ruger P series pistols were as simple as could be... then I bought a Sig P226...... the one issue with the Rugers was having to push that ejector thingy in the mag well down before removing the slide and keeping it down when putting the slide back on... I've been told by more than one Glock fanatic how simple they are to break down and so far I have not found the secret... and I own three of them. I do own one Ruger striker fired pistol, LC9s-pro and I do remember there was some difficulty with it but I don't have it on hand to figure out at the moment.
