Just picked up a Stainless Blackhawk 45 Colt 4 5/8". It needs a rubdown with a scotchbrite pad ( which color ) to freshen it up. Cylinder lockup is good and no end shake. Won't have a chance to shoot for awhile but I can fondle it while waiting. I was looking for an Old Model but found this for under $300 and that pretty much sealed that deal. Now I am looking for a deal on a Single Six Stainless 4 5/8" and I will have a trifecta along with my Stainless 357 Blackhawk 4 5/8. I am eyeballing the stainless 44 special Flattop pretty hard but already have a blued 5 1/2" that shoots excellently. Can you school me on the proper way to scotchbrite rub the gun?
