I normally don't like to show off my new acquisitions nor do I have much interest in guns owned by the famous but since this gun has provenance to two of my all time favorites I am bending my own rules. A 3 digit BKH45 #764 from Hank Williams Jr. that he acquired from Skeeter Skelton. Thanks to JCW64 for alerting me that this gun was available for purchase. Yes, I know the grips are incorrect for the period but I can live with that.

Well....you have a good point there RR. I suppose there's a fine line between sharing and showing off. Maybe I ought to look at this differently. Thanks guys for all the nice comments.

Reminds me of the days of getting Shooting Times and going directly to Skeeters writeup first. And also of going to the Arkansas state fair and watching Hank jr then spending the rest of the night at BJ's Star Studded HonkeyTonk. I must be getting old!
