New to me, been wondering in recent years if I'd ever own one of these. I just turned 57 and have wanted one of these for over 30 years. Owned originally by a small town cop, barely used. I'd rate the overall condition as a 97-98% gun. No box, but I did get the original manual which shows both a standard auto and a longer barreled Mark l on it, from 1950. The gun itself is from nearly the end of red eagle production.
Mostly I lurk here as a guest and rarely sign in, or post. But I had to share this find!

A friend of mine just found one I may try to buy from him it was made in 1952. If I get this gun would Ruger reblue it any thoughts.

Ruger wouldn't have any problem rebluing it.
But if it is in decent shape you might want to hold of on doing that.

from the picture I see no "obvious" reason to have that gun reblued ( and I used to be in the business of just that) maybe a few more pictures to explain "why" you feel it needs to be reblued....nice gun from the picture.........
