Don't worry RR,,, we all know about your sicknesses. Besides,, a bit of JD goes a long way towards soothing the ills!
tommygun,,, by all means, do as RR suggests. I recall a display he did once,,, where he was missing one gun. Well, he was able to get one eventually. He did put out a sign, and it did NOT detract from his display.
I chased the number game on the short barrel .357 Flattops. Had a "few" of them and then realized I believe it was impossible to complete with only short barrels ( I think there were several blocks that Ruger did not produce 4 5/8" barrel guns). I believe this was about the time the other barrel lengths came about. Best of Luck to you tommygun (I know you will get there) Here are some of the numbers:

I have also been chasing 426xx to bookend my collection? #3XX wanted sign, interesting concept. RR, you probably have a pile of 3XX's and are holding out on me :? :?

Jussbad, I just checked Bob's List and the only blocks for which we show zero 4-5/8" guns are 22XXX, 28XXX, 38XXX, and 39XXX.
I'll admit that in a couple of other blocks there are only one or two "shorties" and these may be questionable as we have no indication of "documentation" on them.
