I said that once here and got flamed pretty good. But I'm hard-headed and still believe it's true. Don't even own a 1911 now.

I am a P series guy . . . sold my P345 only to buy a new one 2 days later. I didn't realize they quit making them and really wondered why the guy offered so much for it. Just wish my new onew had the red grip emblems.

Standing with member P-90 again! My KP90DC is my cc and I see no reason to change and the KP90 Safety ain't goin' no where either!
The striker fired Rugers was an attempt to gain a foothold in that market, and they did. But there are still an awful lot of us who preferred and still prefer the P-series.

Just inherited some rugers P series

2- 45 P-90
1-9mm P-89

What do I have ? Do they shoot, what are they worth? Give me the run down. My only experience with rugers are the 10/22

Great guns ... Don't listen to the glock guys that say they are crap. P series run for ever and hit there mark. But if you want I will relieve you of the burden of ownership. :)

I have found it is usually just the safe / decock levers that rattle. Doesn't effect function at all and if you wanted to you can "adjust" these.

P-guy here but I do own glock too.

Once you shoot that 40 she'll be your favorite! I really like the 94s.

Well, I just made an ammo check run to Walmart and picked up the last two boxes of .40cal (50rds each) and that .40cal is much more expensive than 9mm for sure (or was - current situation aside). Yesterday I grabbed the maximum 3 boxes of .45 for the P90. The .40cal appears to be the most expensive I think..... so I'm hoping I don't like shooting that KP944 too much, or at least more so than the KP94 9mm. They are all good..... I just figured I might as well get some .40 cal ammo so I don't have an expensive hunk of metal just sitting around. I'm sitting pretty good in .45 and .9mm but they way things are going.... you have to get what ya can, when ya can.

Local Gun Show this weekend... and I imagine it will be packed, limited materials (guns/ammo)... but could be interesting and more so entertaining to go to. I can image prices will really be jacked up.

Gotta love the P series.

I got some Win white box 100RD last month on sale for 34/box. Same store this month on sale is $40/box!

I hadn't seen stores mark their stuff up until now.

Crazy.

I bought a P95 the first year it came out. Now I think I need a last year one. Only the DC was available in 1996. I wanted one with a safety, but learned to love the DC. Only on a Ruger though.

Very nice and welcome to Rugerforum. Too bad the 345 wasn't a DC like your 93. That would be a super set. Still need a 40cal to go along. Watch out the P-guns are addictive!
