I have Crimson Trace sights on some of my revolvers, and would like a laser sight for my Ruger P97. Crimson Trace sights are only for metal body guns which leaves out the 97. Any recommendations for a laser that would work with the P97?

I don't know if the 97 has a rail or not but my 95 does and I mount a LaserLyte (original version). I really like the LaserLyte for two reasons 1) they are inexpensive ($68-$72) on line and at BassPro but are still well made. 2) I like operating the laser (on/off) with my free hand so I'm not distracted with my shooting hand. Although I can reach the switch with my trigger finger if I want to.
In fact, I have the same laser on the SR9c...perfect fit. For about the same price they offer a boresighter as well. With the boresighter in barrel it's a piece of cake to align the gun laser.
