Laser sight for Toklat

I just bought a SRH Toklat and was wondering if there is any way to mount a laser other than to remove the grips and install a CT grip-mounted laser. I don't want it mounted on the grip.

I've got a rail-mounted, green-laser CT on my Glock 17 and it is the cat's meow. Love it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

With the barrel as thick as it is, it would easy for a gunsmith to tap it, and mount a small rail to the underside of the barrel. This would be a neat setup, and you could use a myriad of different lasers.

The only downside would be getting a holster for it would be a custom job.
