The gun industry are full of great companies. My 4 inch Ruger Redhawk sports Hogue Bantum grips. I wanted a set of wood grips, so ordered a pair. The 4 inch gun with the Hogue grips have a different grip locator piece, a little plastic piece that anchors the grips. I called Ruger, they are sending me one free. I need a little plastic wedge to get the old grips off, as I bought the gun used and it didn't come with it. A call to Hogue, and they are sending me that free as well. Kudos to two great companies. You don't get service like that anywhere else. And this isn't the first time. Smith and Wesson has sent me a mainspring free of charge, and Ruger numerous times have went above and beyond, IMHO.

I'll add Charter Arms to your list. After a day of cast n blast on the mtn., I found that the knurled end piece and the next piece from the ejector rod were missing from my Bulldog. A phone call got me the parts in the mail in less than a week. A friend bought one of the newer shorter barrel varieties with a bobbed hammer. He told me later he wished he'd gotten a model with a regular hammer, more woods and plinking friendly. Told him to call and see if a part swap would work. He did, it did. Folks on the phone looked it up, talked him thru it. He's a happy man now.
