I finally found a 9mm P94L for under 500! I couldnt help myself or afford it but I have been looking for a clean one for 2 years at a reasonable price. The 1500 dollar ones online were just a little rich for my blood.

Its actually a decock only so I think it is actually a KP94DL. Weee! Ok so now who has a KP97DAO they want to rid them selves of?

looks kinda neat, but adds weight and bulk. (and price)
to an already bulky gun.
I don't like laser beams, but to each his own.

+1 It looks odd, adds weight, and I'm not crazy about the obsolete fragile laser in the pistol. I will not shoot or carry the pistol it is just for my Ruger P collection. They are quite rare and also usually quite expensive. I'm one of a few around here that collect the P's. I like them a bunch.

Looks cool AJ. I bet you have been tracking that down a while.

You know quite a bit about the P-series AJ. What is the device, the end of which we see in the serrations, just above the take-down slide marks? It appears to be only in the decocker (DC) versions. I could go look it up, but I figured the question was right up your alley.

Its called a Decocker lever spring retainer.

Interesting AJ. Thank you. My (3) P94's are not DC only models.

I guess and thus that spring on the inside of the slide would then spring the lever back to the decock position, a feature the DC/safety models don't have.

Nice catch Al. If you got that for under $500 I'd say you did well. Cool & unusual.
