I became a knife guy when I joined the Cub Scouts.
I wanted a Cub Scout knife, but my Dad said "That's not a knife!"
He gave a brand new Case two-blade pocket knife to me and taught me why it was better than the traditional "scout knife". Been a fan ever since.
