Is there any knife handle makers here that could make a set of white handles for the Ruger Accurate knife with an emblem in it. I have the knife and the emblems just can't make the handles or have the handle material. I would like to change out the handle screws to stainless also and have the handles match my vaquero grips possible. I have included pics for reference.

Obviously not too many on this forum..... Have you tried finding a custom knife maker near you that might be willing to work on it?

I make knives, but still new at it and don't think I'm up to the skill level it would take to do a job like this justice.

I'm also a member of a bladesmith forum (bladesmithforum.com) and you would very likely find someone there who could take this on.

Thanks I will head that way and see what I can find. Good luck with your craft moving forward

Is there not any knife makers out there that can rehandle this knife for me?
Yes sir, I saw your initial post and almost immediately responded...but as I thought about it, I felt I had too much on my plate already to give the project the attention it deserved. I'm retiring the end of April, I was in the middle of a kit knife build for a coworker, my wife had eye surgery yesterday and the old historic courthouse I work in burnt to the ground Monday afternoon. (Didn't have that last one on my bingo card) So it would've been months before I could've gotten to it. Honestly though, and I was hoping, someone would've stepped up by now. Hopefully someone on the bladesmith forum can help you out. Keep us posted. I'd like to help you out but as I mentioned, my plate is full right now.

I understand it is on my back burner at the moment and not really important. Seems like you and I have more in common than you think all the bad luck hits at once. My father in-law passed away last Friday and Saturday as I was getting cleaned up from fixing my truck and go help the wife with som arrangements my Mother called and said my cousin that I grew up with had passed away unexpectedly. So I got not one but two gut punches in two days so a lot of things have been moved around on my plate so to speak. Thank you very much for the explanation and I hope everything works out for you.
