Info request on Ruger knife collection in leather case

I have a set of Case XX/Ruger knives in a leather display case. I don't know anything about them although I have searched repeatedly to no avail. If you have ever seen a set like this, I would appreciate your sharing any info you may have on them. They are from my brother's estate and not sure how/where he got them. Any info on worth, facts about history, collectibllity, etc appreciated.

Apparently, this set is worth between $1500-$2,000 according to one person who does some collecting.
Anybody interested in making an offer??? I don't expect much interest at the suggested prices. but willing to consider all offers.

If that is the correct set each knife should have the same 3 digit serial number
