I figured I'd post an experience in the Lounge to reach more folks.

Some years ago,, I had the desire to add lights to my Dillon presses. I studied several, and most used the center hole of the toolhead to add a light. Then I found a different approach. A company called "KMS Squared."
Flat, thin contoured light strips, that adhere to the underside of the press body, above the rising shellplate were what impressed me. So, I ordered a single "kit" which had all the stuff,, for one press.
Once I got it,, I realized it was perfect, and ordered more for my other presses.

Now,,, KMS Squared is Veteran owned & operated. David,, the owner was very quick & accommodating in handling my orders. Top quality all around. I've posted about them before in the Reloading section here.

I really didn't pay much attention to the "Lifetime Warranty" statement on the packaging & all.

Well, about 2 weeks ago,,, I was showing my KMS Squared lights to a fellow reloader,, and noticed that it seemed a little "off" in brightness. I discovered that somehow,, I had torn a piece of the light strip, to where a few of the lights could no longer work. I immediately decided I needed to order a replacement, AND decided to buy a "spare" in case I did it again.

Off to the KMS website, and an email was sent. David was very prompt in replies, and said they warranty stuff, unless obvious damage occurred. He wanted my order info to track me in their system. I had no clue about that. At first, he thought I may have ordered it off Amazon, but I allowed I had not. He was able to find my original order info once I gave him more details on me. (My business name was on my account with them.) He asked for a couple of pictures,, one with the light on, and one with it turned off. I sent those,, admitting that it was most likely my fault it got damaged.
He replied that he would replace my light strip for the cost of postage,, $5.99.
I said I wanted to buy a spare, and a few other items. Again, NO PROBLEMS,, and he even stated that shipping would be free on my entire order if it was over $50.00. That would make the replacement free. My order didn't total more than $50.00 but I didn't care.

I share all of this because I want to share how good KMS Squared has been. In our ever shrinking world of good customer service,, it's refreshing to find such good, fast & honest excellent customer service.

I've preached before on how good these lights are,, and now,, that I needed something else,, they stepped up immediately & took care of my issue quickly & fairly.

If anybody needs a reloading press light system,, (and I highly recommend them,) KMS Squared offers a pretty good selection for many presses.

Yep! I’ve got the same lights on my press. Boy they are bright too! And it puts the light exactly over the working area of the press.

When I ordered a set of lights, they came within two days. I didn’t realize it but I believe they are in Denton. Which is really close to Dallas.

That’s pretty nice about their warranty. Glad to hear they are good people.

When I was at contenders a few years ago he showed me the KMS Squared lights and when I go home I order one for my 550. Easy to install and boy, does it make a difference when you're using the press. So I got one for my big heavy Lyman single stage press. I also highly recommend them.

Not only do they work good. I think a big idea in Contender’s post was about good companies that stand behind their products.

If I’m buying something of value I do try and look for an American company. But I also consider their warranties and customer service.

I’m sure most people here do the same. I’m not a Veteran but supporting a Veteran owner is also a bonus.

I just bought a wallet and started a post about it a while back. It was an American company.

But after using the wallet for a week or so, I can say I don’t like it one bit.

So I ordered another one, this time from Hanks Belts. One of their thin front pocket wallets. Another American company and they have a 100 year guarantee. I figure I’m going to hold them to it or die trying. 😀😀😀

All too often,, companies hear mostly the negative stuff. People complaining about something or another. And yes,, if I have a problem,, I do take it to the company.
BUT,,,,,, I also take the time to thank & congratulate a company when they do good. Not only have I posted here,, I send David at KMS Squared a polite "Thank You" message & allowed how I had posted this here.

I always figure; If I want to complain,, I should always try & be the same with compliments.

Good to know.
I've been using a small 'spotlight' type fixture aimed directly at the bullet seating station so I can visually check each powder charge. This held by a flexible 'gooseneck' that can be moved out of the way if necessary and works well.

I've looked at gooseneck types of lights. I felt they were "in the way" so to speak clutter wise on the bench or press area. These lights are invisible & the wiring is well out of the way.
