About 22 years ago in the Winter of 1991 I purchased a Ruger KMK514 and a Saco 22-250 at an Ernie Bean Gun Show in Birmingham Al. Brought them home, put the Ruger in the safe and went about handloading for the Saco. That Ruger remained there (in the shipping carton) un-molested until day before yesterday!
Decided to sell my collection and found it! Could not even remember buying it. But my records saved the day. I intend to sell this pistol but cannot find a current value. There just doesn't seem to be any...anywhere. Even COMPLETED AUCTIONS on Gunbroker shows nothing! The pistol
is unfired and NIB (and in the shipping carton) Can anyone help with a current value?
Actually I am "poe' but found I could not login under that name? Had to re-register.

Wow...Four offers! My grips look nothing like those on the
used 514. Mine look "reddish" like cocobolo?

well MK IIs are desireable AND a bit of a premium, at least around here...also the 5 1/4 is the scarcer version,so this adds to "premium" bottom line add around $100 or MORE to your "bill" ( receipt) and I'd bet if in an auction, it would be MORE but you lose with "fees" tansfers, shipping and all that "crap".........last "used" one we saw over here went for $450...and to me its worth that and more...NICE gun, about the most "perfect" 22 Ruger made, best of ALL worlds...just MY .02 cents

I agree on its desirability. I'd say $500+ easy, to the person who knows what it is, and is looking for one. It's a MKII, it's new w/goodies, and it's one of the more unusual configurations.

I paid about $450-500 (w/o looking it up) for a package that's the same/similar to yours, and that was a couple of years ago- before MKII prices really went through the roof on GunBroker, etc.

***Funny thread hijack***
Doing some looking for you, I found someone on GunBroker trying to sell a used KMK514 with no box, no original grips, etc. Same gun appears to have been up for auction something like 6 times. Hit $501 on second auction, but "Reserve Not Met". Ended up selling it (4 relistings later) for $435! :P

I'll bet the seller kicked himself in the butt- he "held out," only to sell for $66 less than a previous bid...
