Years ago Lakeview Restaurant was our favorite restaurant at Reelfoot Lake. The menu was printed sort of like a hometown newspaper, with this bit of humor. (Reelfoot is a duck hunter's paradise.)

Can you read this?

"C M ducks?"

"M R no ducks."

"O S M R ducks."

"L I B, M R 2 ducks."

P.S. Lakeview got blown away, down to the floor slab, by a tronado that destroyed much of the community acouple of years ago. Owner has sais she is too old to rebuild now.

MR Ducks is one of my favorites. Never thought how accurate it was until after moving to NC and was at the college bookstore getting books with kid #2. One male student in the store called his buddy over to look at something. The buddy came over, looked, and exclaimed, "LIB."
