Yes I agree that the small denomination of the dimes will be the most used. That's why I have lots of dimes.....The dime you refer to was technically called the Winged Liberty Head dime, but people started calling it the Mercury Dime as it looked like the Roman God Mercury, even though it was supposed to be Lady Liberty....I love Mercury dimes. The same designer who created the Walking Liberty half dollar also designed the Mercury dime. Those 2 designs are usually considered as the most beautiful of the American coins.....that's why they used the "Walker" as the design for the American Eagle coin.....yeah, I love the Mercury dime myself. Good choice......90% silver dimes will be the medium of exchange is my prediction.
Small enough denomination to exchange for goods.
And, when you go to the coin store to buy some, ask for Liberty dimes, not the ones with that damned democrat FDR...it always gets a laugh from the guys behind the counter!
