Picked up this complete outfit from original owner today. Claimed only had 300 rds fired. Complete down to the oil paper. I like the look of the 6 7/8 tapered barrels best. Just nice to find clean guns with all contents.

 
Even though I don't like the grips, I'm not going to sell them. If I do sell the gun in the future I need them to put the gun back to original condition. Joe

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the KMK678GC only came in a gray plastic box. What does the label on the end of the box say?

Early models came in yellow box.
 
I have a NIB KMKII 4 3/4" (ser #216 prefix) that came in the exact same box, this one is 218 prefix. I also have a KMK512 with a 213 ser prefix. So the 213 goes in the yellow box and this one goes in an "extra" plastic box (for a blued MKIII 512). Looks right at home. Joe
