OK, what I am looking for is a CONSENSUS on if YOU would sell your guns at the upcoming OKLAHOMA gun show
SO what I am asking is WHAT PERCENTAGE of the forum would sell there guns AT A PROFITABLE PRICE--AND-- who thinks the LIBERAL gun agenda/REGISTRATION is a PIPE DREAM, UNINFORCEABLE
Remember as of now there STILL IS NOT A FORCED REGISTRATION WITH AN FFL, but that would be an easy EXEC DECISION

I'm not interested in selling anything.

No selling, I'm fortunate to have two sons and a daughter who love guns and shooting that will receive mine.

even with the current buying frenzy, the ones I might sell would not be in demand. (77s and #1s)

I've been in a get rid of stuff mode before all this started and have sold a few and want to do more.

But, then I am prepping for "the big one, elezibeth"

The only thing I would say is that if you are getting older and you don't have family to pass on the guns to, and your wife isn't interested in more than one or two, and she'd have a mess trying to deal with them herself, I would say if selling is part of your long term plan, then now is as good a time as any. Prices are up for sure on many things. Just don't go too crazy on the prices, but don't give them away. Rifles and shotguns are harder to sell if you have mostly collected those, but handguns are hot right now. Don't misunderstand you can sell anything if it's priced right, but set up your table and walk around and see what the going price is for guns similar to yours. But if you have a big family that you were planning on passing them on to, then now might also be the time for some of that. I told my son, that anything I give him I expect him to never sell.

If I had only skipped taking that boat trip last month I'd have some I could sell but, alas, they were all lost in that tragic accident offshore.

Bear Paw Jack is right.... I'm in that place.... probably going to end up leaving my wife a real pain and aggravation to get rid of my guns... but I just really don't have the time or energy to start seriously down sizing...
As for the universal back ground checks, I don't think the Prez has the legal authority to do that.... what is this executive order thing? sounds to me like something some president and staff came up with years ago to get around congress, for good or bad. Seems like if it was actually 'legal' then the prez could just say and make any laws he wanted to.... sorry, don't mean to get political. (here)

I have a few guns I would like to sell now because the prices are high but why go to an Oklahoma gun show? I don't care about having to go through an FFl and I doubt you could get a better price there than selling any other way.

Back before this latest shortage... what I noticed at the gun shows around here were that guns being sold privately usually were going for 50 - 100 dollars more than what you would pay for the same used gun from a dealer.
