Joe Bowman- Interesting Read-

I had never heard of Joe Bowman before now. I found this very interesting. Evidentially he was in on the design of the New Vaquero. Enjoy!

Yep,, a good gentleman!
I met him a few times, and even participated in one of his exhibitions. I have a few items from him. Including a paper plate he shot 6 times,, while I held it. He used wax bullets. He signed it for me too.

I used to see him hanging around the Houston gunshows and talking with people back when I lived in Texas....Three things about him that stuck out to me was that he always seemed like a nice guy, he liked to dress up like was the star in an old "B Western" movie, and the modified Ruger Blackhawks that he carried were the first "Colterized" 3-Screw Rugers that I'd ever seen in person.
