It's freaking snowing!

Started out this morning gloomy and raining with some pretty strong wind from the north, now it is snowing. Tough to figure out when to start gardening. I usually just wait until May 12, the last day for frost around here. We usually do get late frosts...... Winter does NOT want to let go.

I just got off the phone with the contractor who's building my house down at the beach. He spends his summers up in Alaska. He's there right now in fact. He said they had 4 feet of snow on the ground, and now it's down to 30 inches. He's in Southern Alaska, not sure where, but it's about a 3 hour drive from Anchorage.
