I was at a local gun shop when I noticed a very nice OM SSix...looking it over it had the extra cylinder, .22 WMR on the frame, a five digit s/n and good looking!!!

$299.00 plus tax...OK...I'll bite.

Then I saw it had been converted. The show was over! Ugh!

No box and no original parts either. It's someone else's "opportunity" now. I was ready to take it home!

I hate it when that happens!!

Heck,, I'd used the "missing" original lockwork as a bargining chip,, and brought it home. Then,, I'd dug into my parts bins,, and gotten out a set of OM parts,, returned it to it's original configuration.,,, and smiled!

Yeah,, I tend to buy them when I find them at a fair price. I once bought a nice OM 357 cheap due to the conversion being done and no parts were available. However I had a set of parts,, and was able to get the gun for $200. Now I have another good OM.
Did I mention the time I got a set of OM Super parts for $20.00??? (Their asking price,,,)
