2015 Single-Six in .17HMR

A perfect companion to the .17HMR American Rimfire I won from RMEF a few years ago!

This is my first new model SA, so I have yet to form an opinion on the action, but it does feel good in the hand and I am looking forward to a range trip in the coming days.

Nice pair for sure. Like how ruger has a polished bluing on the receiver/barrel on the rimfires over the matte finish. Bought the compact in 22 mag years back and mounted a Vortex Crossfire on it. Never felt the stock felt chintzy either. Sure makes for a light weight rifle for carrying in the woods.

Usually I am a wood stock only guy on my rifles, I would prefer to carry the weight than feel the extra recoil in those "ultra-light" rifles. Haven't felt the need to put this into wood for that exact reason.

Finally had a chance to get to the range today. Only shot 60 rounds, but still made sure they shot where I pointed them...

Yeah, couple of flyers, but the American Rimfire shoots pretty damn straight. I think I need a different bipod on it, wasn't quite as steady as it should be.

Very nice. Those should make for great companions and looks like they both shoot very well. I need to get some of those A17 ammo to try in my 17HMR Marlin VRX w/ATN night/day vision scope.
