I have looked around - on their site and such - but find the hogue grip that came on my 38 LCR to be very forgiving on recoil -not something the CT has. The CT is a bit hard, but someone told me the CT also makes a softer rubber grip - does anyone have an experience with this?
is there another crimson trace grip?

For other models they do. Take the SP101 for example. They offer a polymer and a more expensive rubber overmold one. The polymer model is smaller, no room for the pinky.
