Is it a 22/45 MKII or MKIII

Ok I have had this gun for a couple of years but I never care if it was a 2 or 3 but now I need some mags and I can't tell which it is. Or dose it matter with the mags.

So how do I tell which model it is.

My MK III 22/45 says "MK III" on the left side of the action. If it is a MK III it will have a loaded chamber indicator, which the MK II didn't have.

The MkIII will indeed say so on the action, it will have a loaded chamber indicator on the left side of the receiver and it will have a magazine disconnect. The MkII has none of these. The standard model MkII magazines will not work in the MkIII but i'm not sure for the 22/45's.

Dose anyone know if MKIII Magazine will work in a MKII Midway USA has a Ruger Magazine sale going on and I cold use a couple of more magazine.

Yes but not the other way around unless you remove the tab from back of the MKIII trigger.
