I found this tucked away, haven't seen it for years. I bought it and never used it. It turns a 44 mag revolver into a pellet gun! I'm going to try it out this week.

The barrel is rifled,so maybe it will shoot OK.

hmmm, I was about to ask about propellant but further reading revealed they use pistol primers

also read they were made in other calibers, I found reference to 38/357 and 45

Sometimes primers backed out of case pocket preventing cylinder from turning
I used them for handgun training my wife and daughters in the basement in winter.
Accuracy was passible for self defense training to 15ft. Foam Ear plugs used.
Having wax right temp when loading rounds was important. A little soft worked best. I poured a flatbar of wax as thick as maximimum projectile length, laid wax bar on a piece of flat sheet metal then stabbed primed case into wax near an edge of the bar, twist the loaded case off the sĺab edge.

Well,I made it to the range today and got a decent group at 7 yards.
The projectile was a .177 round lead ball. POI was,as expected, low.
Power wise,a ball fired at a pine board completely buried itself in the wood.
I'm encouraged to try again with real airgun pellets.

I did my shooting with my 5 1/2" Redhawk, iron sights.
Next time I will use a 6" S&W 29,and a red dot.
I'm betting the group will be smaller!
