I want to improve the trigger on my 22/45. Will this help? http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/trigger-group-parts/trigger-parts/triggers/ruger-mark-iii-drop-in-accurizing-kit-prod22720.aspx

Yes, that kit will make a new gun out of your 22/45 . I have three 22/45's and have that kit in all three. I believe you will be amazed at the improvement in the trigger and how well you can shoot it.

The problem with that kit is that you are paying for stuff you probably don't need like the hammer, bolt release, wrench and maybe the trigger. You might want to consider just the VQ sear, which usually makes a big improvement, and the new TandemKross straight trigger if you feel you need a better trigger.

^^^ that is very true. The sear IS the part that makes the BIG difference. I just wanted to do it all and chose the kit you posted the link to. Amazing what that conversion does for usability without permanently modifying the gun itself.

I upgraded the bushing also a VQ sear and trigger now the trigger weight is 2 lbs.
I did not use the plunger spring went back to the original that came with the gun for faster trigger reset.
The original plunger spring did in-crease to 2 1/2 lbs pull
