I don't look at the post count too much but just noticed that I now have less than I did a few months ago. I was up to nearly 10,000 and now I have less than 9,000. :?: :?: :?: I had a KARMA set up for when I hit the 10 now I guess that isn't gonna happen for a while now as my count seems to be decreasing. Wonder why?

I think it is funny when somebody answers somebody's question and mistakes their ranking for their name. Other than that I never even noticed or cared.

Click on 'members' at the top of the page and see the number of posts they have and what their title is.
This is what I found. I think it is right.
1 -99 Bearcat
100+ Single-Sixer
500+ Blackhawk
1000+ Buckeye
2000+ Hunter
5000+ Hawkeye

I never noticed the designation before reading this thread. I see that I am a Buckeye, whatever that means.

Is there a place where we can review how many posts it takes for each designation?

To answer the question directly, there are different "handles" to describe folks by their post count. It is a fun way to sorta track your activity & post count. All the names are Ruger related.
Another site uses calibers to do the same thing.
No big issue to most folks. It's just related to post count.

Thanks. As I said, I didn't even notice that we had these handles until it was brought up in this thread.
The only time I look at a person's post count is if he/she has something in the classified section that I am considering buying. 8)

Not that it matters, but the purging is NOT applied equally to all members. Some have lost thousands, where it looks like some have lost none. :mrgreen:
