I'd like to be standing behind him with a fly rod.

I got the fly rod reference when I clicked on the link....
Did the guy ever start singing, I only watched it for about 30 seconds... MaxMan... you said it was a song?

What I would like is for someone here who is a string musician to analyze the video and tell me if the audio actually matches the video... the reason I say this is where is the sound of the rushing water behind him, the music just seems a little too clear and pure to me for the scene. But then I think audio recording technology has advanced a bit since I was in it 40+ years ago... I've noticed sometimes that folks doing these TV travel documentaries can actually be on a train talking about what is going by and you don't hear any noise from the train....

Interesting instrument. I actually had to listen a couple times to actually 'hear' the "Scarborough Fair". He is playing it about an octave higher than I normally hear it played.

I guess there has to be one in every crowd- I’m not a fan. I made it through about 1/4 and had to turn it off. Not my style. Maybe I got dragged to too many renissance fairs in my youth…and that reminded me of a bunch of pot smoking hippies and I was done.

Somebody has to be the grumpy old man…

Sounds like you may have spent too much time at The Oregon Country Fair, or maybe just by the Applegate river?
