I have been looking for a Ruger 22 mk2 found one about an hr ago on the internet and put in a bid and I don't care if some one out bids me I'm not going any higher. bidding stops in about 3 hr's

I wish you well on your bid!

I did that some time back. On GunBroker you can put in a maximum bid and GunBroker will automaticlly raise your bid by some amount until your maximum is reached.

I got a Colt New Frontier recently on such an auction.

Even a blind hog is a different color some day!

No, I did NOT get it the winner wanted it more than I did, I am looking at a couple more that the bid ends in 2 days on one and 3 on the other, the bids are already pretty high $370.00 +$25.00 shipping then my FFL dealer gets $25.00 that price is for a used one. ( don't want one that bad)

It may seem high for what you are willing to pay but have you you checked the completed auction part of the search on gunbroker to see what other MKII's have sold for? You may be surprised what some models of the MKII have been selling for. I would love to get a MKII stainless Government for under $400   !!! Good luck with your next auction. You will eventually get the one you want! :D Which MKII are you looking for?

One of our members ( will not give out his name with out his consent) has sent me a website that has what I'm looking for have to wait till the morning to buy it, the price is what I consider fair have already got consent to use FFL from my local dealer

This one was already SOLD darn it, the price was fair at $269.99 and $15.00 shipping.

Do you have a Facebook account? I've joined several gun groups on there and have found some great deals. I think I've picked up 3 guns this year: an ithaca model 37 for $120, a SS MK II FOR $160, and an older 10/22 for $150. All great prices in my area.

No I don't do face book thing, didn't know you could buy thing from them

What is the maximum you are willing to spend? The last Mark II I bought I paid just a little less than 400 for one. Unfired Stainless heavy tapered barrel.

Kiven, I'm not going to pay over $300.00 fer one I'm 77 years old I may die before I get a chance to shoot it or find one. :(

Chuck,

Owned 3 MARK 2's......

Last one and the total keeper is a 22/45...(Stainless 5.5 inch bull barrel.)
Might be cheaper.................And yet both my most accurate and reliable.
Look for one of those cheap . ;)

Owned a SH*TLOAD of .22 rimfire handguns since 1981.....

Settled on 2 keepers.
The Mark 2 22/45 That has dropped pests and food at 30 yards....(sits in a holster on yer hip, never notice it's there....)

And a TC CONTENDER MATCH GRADE 14" barrel...That is UBER accurate at almost 3 times that range......
The Contender doesn't quite hang on a hip, unfelt...LOL.

The Mark 2 22/45......Maybe the best,accurate,reliable.and most fun,.22rimfire handgun I ever owned.
