I like wooden boxes................

I have this thing for wooden boxes, and usually pick them up at the cigar store, craft shop or second hand store. And have even made some myself.

I like 'em also. I really enjoy making them. Made quite a few, from pistol displays to urns.

A few years ago I stopped by a garage sale and as I was looking through the usual stuff I asked the lady if she had any old guns or coins for sale. She went in the house and came back out with a hand carved wooden box about the size of a shoebox that had abunch of foreign coins and currency inside. She said it had been in her closet for years and would take $20 for it. The coins and currency didn't have much value but the box was awesome with the hand carved flowers and mountains.
