8) If Raylin Givens carried a revolver, I think it would be like this one.

Sweet!

But I'm thinking Raylan is more of a DA guy...prolly a S&W guy...either an old-school Model 19 Combat Magnum or one of the limited-run 3" M66s....

Billy at least has the caliber right, and I believe I remember reading his weapon of choice is a revolver. But I figure a Smith DA, most likely. I was wrong once before, though...

And Contender, we're talking about a fictional US Deputy Marshall here, courtesy of Elmore Leonard. If you haven't met the man via one of Leonard's books, you owe yourself a treat.

Hey,

We exchanged pm some time ago about an anticipated trip to your area of the State a couple of months ago.

Right now the schedule is arrive at Dillard House Thursday May 19 departing the 22nd. So far got a day scheduled to raft the Nantahalia. Havn't been given the rest of my marching orders. It's a family renunion for in laws so I will be suiting up and showing up.

I still would very much like to see and visit with you and your wife, with whom I share a name. Looking at guns and or shooting would just be the cherry on top.

:o Ok, So maybe I'm wrong..... Not the first..... But I just think A Ruger SA fits the character.

This probably would be more to Raylan's style. The same actor used this exact type of gun in the move The Crazies.
Nothing like a 3 1/2 inch Model 27.

With Raylin's cowboy hat, that is the only gun that he should have. Being from the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, some of the characters in that show, look and act like some of the guys that I grew up with. I dread to think where I would fit in to that show.  :( I would have probably been shot by him the first show.

To my eye, it looked like an M-19. Six, or half dozen though. Great pics all.

Has anyone else seen the two (maybe more?) new Justified promo's FX is running?

One is very Dirty Harry, "In all the confusion, I lost count myself....". Funny.

The other is in a dark bar, with Raylan commenting on the Cantina scene in Star Wars, with the difference in versions. Funny.

 For the last 3 weeks I haven't been able to stay awake and have feel asleep by 10:40 est. :( It sucks cause you feel like you missed the whole damn show!

Ya see, This was kinda my point. Raylin is not Dirty Harry, Jim Rockford, or Steve MeQueen.

On Demand (depending on your provider), or they have episodes on the FX website. I understand your situation, living it myself, the episode usually get recorded, and watched the day after it airs.
