My grandmother was a Flapper. Born in 1900. A widowed single mother by 19 (then again, a lot of women were made widows by WWI). She was a party girl, but always took care of her kids first. Died at 42. Lived fast, died fairly young, and raised two of the best kids possible.The young girl dancers during the roaring 20's were called "flappers".

the CCR video was great, one of my favorite bands.... the interesting thing is if you look close several of the dancers are not young.
I used to work with an old Polish guy and when he saw a rear-end that he liked he would say "Oooh Pa Dupa DUPA"!!!! He was a trip and came out with some of the funniest things you ever heardMissed that detail. My attention was a bit further south!!
