Just really not meant to collect this stuff. I think I made a good short run at it too. I've got collector type stuff in the safe that I haven't taken out since I brought it home.. It bothers me to think about it. There is a 4 digit Flatgate, a Magnum Single Six, a 10 inch FT 357, and even a D prefix Single Six in the box... Lord only knows how many OM 357s I've ended up with. No solid plan, just willy nilly piling them up. I'll get the first batch of Single Sixes and 357s posted in the classifieds in next day or so.

Careful not to post too many at once, it bothers some folks.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SELLS :D 8) 8) I know they will be some nice guns  will be fun watching them :) Holding on to those fine CUSTOMS don't blame you :P

Axe, good luck with your sale.

I have a similar problem in that I've accumulated some stuff and for me, really don't have it situated so I can access it and enjoy it and share with others - it's all packed and buried in the safe. I've decided for me it's an organization issue which I'm working to address. I believe if I can get the nice guns out of the safe and displayed or situated (properly secured) so I can view/handle/enjoy them it will work. If not, I'll be in the same place as noted in the OP - it bothers me too...

Hey Bob, now that was funny    I got just over 10 years at one a month BUT I have 10 years of BUYING to go    at least I HOPE I do    doesn't bother me to leave them sit in the safe......I can't even think about such things....YET    good luck with the SALE.....RR.

guess you just have NOT been in the position that you HAD to sell anything in a hurry to "settle up" one of lifes many unpleasant surprises, in my 45 plus years of the 'business' have seen it and all too often......
as 'splitz' so eloquently puts it.."we are only the tempory custodians of..." 8)

Pretty much it... Same job for 35 years.. Very secure. Retire any time I want. NG retirement kicks in in 9 months.. Social Security a couple of years out. Simply found stuff I want more than I want the stuff in the back of the safe.

Yes sir, I call it fine tuning the tastes. I find myself doing it with customs the longer I have them. As my experience and flexibility grows I am able to more sharply focus my ideas in what I want to spend my disposable funds on.

Well I was called out on my arithmetic today by TUCSONITE    one a month might take a wee bit longer than 10 years    I better start selling now or I might be REALLY OLD before I finish    RR.
