Huckleberry Holster

Another poster was asking about the El Paso Saddlery Doc Holiday holster.

That reminded me of the one I purchased from San Pedro Saddlery. It was advertised in the Dillon catalog as the Huckleberry Holster. This was just after the movie Tombstone came out.

I tucked this holster away and never actually used it. I tried to look up San Pedro Saddlery but I could find no website. Did this place go out of business?

Just from some other forums it sounds like the owner fell on some hard times. Sounded like he got bombarded with work and was having trouble keeping up. Some issues with the family may have popped up (if you can believe internet chatter http://www.coltforum.com/forums/leather-accessories/43565-san-pedro-saddlery.html).

Yes he did I think he still makes stuff but no individual sales, Big Ed made my stuff fine and I hope he's doing ok.
