How the auto industry can mess up simple things...

Seems all that eletronik whizzerdry isnt so infallible. Or repairable.
Many a motorcycle that is pristine will be rendered useless due to electronic components are either so outrageously expensive to be unaffordable or no longer available or both.
Its already happening now.
And it is happening to autos, too.

How about my 1968 Buick Skylark, you had to loosen the bumper mounting bolts and let the bumper drop down in order to change the headlight and they didn't last long back then.
need to check out some of the newer Cadillac's, you start out pulling the front plastic (bumper cover) off. was told by the service mgr at local Chevy dealer that it cost $600 to a 1000 dollars to replace the head lights.
