How NOT to ride a motorcycle

That was nuts! I saw that once in NY. Four bikes a bat out of hell a few miles down the road the same four bikes all dead as hell.fools!!!

Been riding since 1962.... probably got over a 500,000 miles on two wheels. To each his own, but I figure lane splitting is a good way to meet your maker sooner rather than later..... and the way that lunatic was riding, it's gonna be real soon.

I can predict the outcome of motorcycle vs. Chevrolet with complete confidence. The score is always 1 to 0 in favor of the Chevrolet.... I guess you could call it a "Sudden Death" playoff.

My stress level went through the roof just watching that stupidity!

I'm never in that much of a hurry to arrive at a hospital in pieces.

I'm not good for very much of that sort of video... I've been riding for 45+ years, and I'm sure I've done my share of nutty stuff. But I don't think I ever completely lost my sense of sanity like this character.

Well... There WAS that one time when I got pinched for 125 in a 25... :?

Thankfully I lived long enough to grow out of that nonsense.

Well, that's how they do it in Chile. Also in the OP's link is how to NOT do it up here. Click the video arrow::

Mine was 105 in a 55 zone. Spent two days in jail because the prescribed fine was more than the maximum for a misdemeanor fine allowed in that jurisdiction. "Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end..."

I bet the people sitting in their cars, parked on the freeway were kinda freaked out the have something go by them fast like that.

Just crack the drivers side door a couple of inches. The results can be spectacular, and well deserved.

Why would you wish real physical harm on another?
I recall a Phoenix driver who tossed a milkshake into the path of a driver passing him in morning traffic. The passing driver couldn't clean his windshield and hit the wall, big pileup. Yup. Multiple counts of road rage and felony assault on the milkshake tosser. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in civil lawsuits. He's probably still wearing orange today.

I guess I should have used a smilie or something. I was joking. I rode for years on the street, but in Los Angeles it's literally worth your life to do so. I still ride in the dirt regularly.

Yep, that's crazy. Bikes have a great power to weight ratio. But they don't stop nearly as quick as the rider would like sometimes.

Run into a Buick and they stop really quick.

I used to ride. A friend I rode with sometimes would use the center line to pass cars though never anything as stupid as on that video. I wouldn't do it. I always figured you are relying on other people too much. All it takes is one bobble by the driver of the vehicle on either side of you & your screwed.

With idiots texting and talking on the phone and drifting back and forth in their lane, he wouldn't last one rush hour on the baltimore beltway.

I have that one beat. Big ole full dresser, guy has one hand on the bike to steer, and in the other his cell phone. Sad thing is idiots like this survive, folks obeying the rules get sandwiched between two cars.

I was out in Ca in 2007 and in the bay area they split lanes all the time.
Comming across the bay bridge, this idiot on a duel sport came FLYING between the lanes at a good 60 mph. Traffic was bumper to bumper and just barley moving. Maybe 10 mph.
I was getting ready to change lanes and never saw him in my mirror. He don't know how close he
came to meeting Jesus that day. Scared the yugo out of me too.

I guess there isn't a machine made that someone isn't going to mistake stupidity for skill. I remember one time I went with Dad to take cattle up to Chicago. We had a 3/4 ton with a 24 foot gooseneck and the guy beside us was in a semi with a tanker when we were just to the place. We were just at the place were 65 runs into 90 and traffic was backed up doing about 30 or 35. This guy on a bike zooms in between us doing an insane speed and keeps on going. Dad just shook his head and said there always seems to be someone in a hurry to die.
