How is front sight ramp on late 70's SS Old Army attached?

I suspect silver solder is used to attach the ramp to the barrel on stainless Ruger Old Army's, as I see no pins or screws holding the ramp in place. Surely not soft solder(?). As folks familiar with this particular revolver know, the ramp is radial key-slot milled for receipt of the blade that gets pinned in place. And what temperature would be needed to remove the ramp if ever necessary? Just something to file away in my brain. Thank you. Don

I would first have said silver solder as that is what I've always mistakenly called silver or low temp. brazing. I've seen the barrel & base separated & yes it's silver brazed.

It's melting point begins at approx. 1150 deg., & can rise from there depending on the alloy.
