Hello
Usually I load these into 45 acp. Work fine. Recently bought a new Blackhawk and wonder if they'll work. If so, any favorite Unique or Trail Boss loads?
Thanks
Mac

They'll work, though you might need to seat them a smidge deeper than you do for youe auto loader. I have found, and lots of other folks, too, that you can't have any of the bullet's full diameter forward of the case mouth. I have to set a SWC shoulder flush to get them to chamber.

This post is really in the wrong section, but trail boss is good in a 45ACP if your using lead cast bullets for target, your powder load would be 3.5grs. go to IMR powder's web site and check it out, lots of free data there, what cal. are you loading in the blackhawk?

The 230 grain bullet in 45 Colt will work just fine. Use will allow you to standardize on one bullet only for both cartridges, which is a plus.
