Help with propane bbq grill

Can you post a picture of the problem area?
Depending on how loud the hiss is try and check it with my method but do it away from the house at least 15 feet. Might want to take a picture of it too. Then a video of it could possibly get you or your relatives a lot of views on you tube later..... just remember that propane is heavier than air and falls and will puddle.

Are you cross threading the collar when attaching to tank? That would impact the tight seal as it would not thread all the way and be canted leaving an escape route for propane.....ask my Son how we discovered that a couple times....

I gave up on propane grills a long time ago. I had gotten what looked like a good one, a Great Outdoors model. Heavy cast aluminum body, base and side tables. The burner was bronze so I thought it would last and it did for a faily long time and then the gas orfices started corroding and cloogging. I took it apart and drilled them all out and got a few more years, then same thing, The push button starter had given out , got a new one and it lasted a few years. Finally about 15 years ago I gave up and got a Big Green egg. Not nearly as quick or convenient. I got a bunch of accessory pieces for it and even an external smoke unit. I can actuall cold smoke cheese on it . I don't think I will ever go back to propane.

I can’t disagree with you.

My biggest thing before buying a grill is: Is it made in the USA?

I can’t say this has grill is made in the USA, although parts of it are at least.

Some of Weber grills are made in the USA and some aren’t.

Big Green Eggs are supposed to be very good to cook on. I know people who have them. But I’ve never used one. Although I would love too!
