Hi,
New to the forum, and in dire need of some help. I purchased a Wolff XP Hammer spring and am struggling to even disassemble the trigger group. I've read about the difficulties in reassembling with the new spring, but I don't seem to be able to even remove the old one. I removed the pin that holds the trigger in and that came out easy enough. Now I'm stuck. I reassembled and everything seems to work okay, but the trigger is loose, so I suspect I have not reassembled properly. I have not been able to find a good step-by-step guide to walk me through this...any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!

You shouldn't have to remove the trigger, just cock the hammer and put a sturdy pin in the bottom of the hammer strut, then gently pull the trigger and remove the hammer strut assembly so that you can swap hammer springs.
After you've swapped springs and are ready to reinstall the hammer spring strut, align everything and press down on the strut at the same time that you cock the hammer, the strut will pop down into place.

thanks a ton! that worked very well. I was able to get the new spring in - I did previously remove the pin above the trigger which allowed the trigger to come out though. I put it back the way i think it was before I disassembled and a functions check seems to be ok. the trigger still seems to be moving around more than I remember but it might just be paranoia! I guess I'll find out at the range this weekend! thanks for the reply.

Anytime, welcome aboard!
