Damn WAYNO. Sorry they had to do more than expected.
I found out that I have a 7mm nodule in my right lung that shows up hot on the scans so on June 17th I'm having it removed. It should be a simple procedure like the last 2 that they removed with arthroscopic surgery.
The surgeon said that I would be out of work for 2 to 3 weeks which is fine with the Chief Engineer. I returned to work last month from where I retired from in November of 2015 because they are so short staffed.
CANCER SUCKS!!!!

Hope it all goes well for you. When I went through my cancer battle they said they had to take more than they thought when they got in there. Which in a way made me feel better and confident they got it all.

My Wife went through a fight with cancer a few years before me. When I took her to her appointments seeing the younger folks, including children in the waiting area hit me. Kids going through it, just the thought gets to me. So when I was diagnosed it was a surprise. I thought "damn". But never thought "why me". I thought about those kids. I had lived a pretty cool life and had a ton of experiences. Those kids had not even started life and they are fighting a battle with cancer. When I go to my scans/follow ups it still gets to me to see those kids going through it.
 
And it continues...
I had my shoulder replaced two months ago, and on June 17th I begin radiation for the neck cancer. 6 weeks at 5 times per week.
Darn I hope they get me all fixed. (y)

Had my annual dermatology exam yesterday. They cut out 2 places to send in for a biopsy. And that’s why I make my annual trip to the dermatologist. I intend to stay ahead of this thing.
I like the saying above:
I’ll eat when I’m hungry,
I’ll drink when I’m thirsty and
I’ll live till I die,
But I don’t expect the last one anytime soon. I decided I’m going to best at least 90!!!

Wish you well eliminating your skin cancer and a full recovery. I had basal cell melanoma removed last year over my right eye with Mohs surgery. Get stuff burned off my head with the Nitro gun once a year. Good luck with future checkups!
