I am volunteering for a not for profit and have agreed to help with trade show clothing and gear. We have a Big guy 3X he says or 3XTall. I need to get him a quarter zip sweatshirt or fleece in a good quality. tried Lands End and Eddie Bauer.

Any other ideas?

I'm neither big or tall but down here there are "Big and Tall" shops for larger men so you may want to look into similar shops where you live. Failing that since I'm a difficult fit at medium in most everything Ebay is my go to supplier.

I wear a 2X-large/XT. My wife gets mine online....100% cotton, long sleeved Wrangler's most usually.....I haven't looked, but I suspect you could do the same with 3X. Hope this helps.

Carhartt has sizes that actually reflect American clothing. I have tried 3x in Haynes, Gildan, and many others. The Carhartt 3x is so much larger than other brands. I actually fit in a 2x Carhartt. 6’2” and 290 LBS.

One of the things you need to know, is it’s not necessarily about how tall you are, but you also need the tall version if you’ve got a long torso.
I like Carhartt and Duluth Trading post, King Size is also good. I’m only 6’1” but I have a 30” inseam. My son is 6’5” with a 32” inseam so he really has a tough time with clothes.

I have found some excellent resale shops in my town that have $70 shirts (in like-new condition) for $12 or $15 each. They must be washed and ironed before being brought in, or they won't accept them. These are strictly resale shops, not Goodwill or similar stores. Look around, you may be surprised.
