Went to the gun show today, lookin' for something. Found something. I was looking for a New Model Blackhawk .357, or a 4" Ruger Police Service Six .357, or a 5-1/2" Ruger Vaquero .357. What I found was a well worn and used New Model Blackhawk .357 mfg 1978. Someone has done a trigger job on it for sure. I also found a 200th Anniv 4" Service Six .357. Used and abused, shot a lot and never cleaned. With all the scuffs and marks it looks like it was knocking around on the floor under the seat of somebody's truck since 1976. It cleaned up pretty good, lockup is tight, and tolerances are good, of course the scuffs and dings are still there. Here they be:
