Searching around in the Ruger safe opening boxes and I forgot I had put this away. The original grips were also in the box. This has a pair of real "jigged bone" stag grips. They should be on a Colt but I remember using these on my Fast Draw wax/blank gun when I was competing in WFDA ( boy that seems like eons ago) - thought y'all might enjoy.

...now THAT is indeed, very cool.........(y)(y)

reminds me of the one ,shorty BUT in .44 mag came to the Ruger show Shotgun News at the I-X Center in Cleveland ,back in 1991 I believe, and all the collectors told the old guy carrying it around "too bad it was 'modified' " and passed on it,, we found out later it was done by Ruger, SHIPPED THAT WAY, but oh well back then we did not collect Blackhawks......;)
