I was going to buy the SR9C this week, but now I'm not after reading about the numerous and common problems many are having with this gun. I was really hot on getting the SR9C, but I sure don't intend on having to loc-tite the assembly pins in place to keep the gun together. What other gun has anyone had to do this on, within the first 200 rounds ? There are so many apologists saying that these problems are forgivable and can be worked around, but being an Engineer I can identify poor parts tolerancing and quality control easily. I've decided to give Ruger a year to 'get it right' before I give them my money for the SR9C, checking back often to see if these problems continue to be reported. In the meantime, I'll just keep firing away with my out-of-the-box perfect XD9 SC.
