If that had 3 screws instead of 2 pins it would be a really rare gun....still a great gun and price....RR.
Yes if it had a "Star" stamped in front of the trigger guard and a 22 L.R. cylinder instead of a 22 Mag. cylinder, it would be just as rare as the Old Model, although it wouldn't bring as much money. I was lucky to have found "2" of the 4 5/8 in. Old Model Super Single-sixes. But I never found a Blue 4 5/8 in Star!!!
Sir, Welcome to the forum! great deal on a great little shooter!!
You read my mind Street! I always check out every NM blue 4 5/8" gun
I see. I own one thanks to a friend who spotted one in a gun shop in
North Canton a few years ago. I bought the gun sight unseen for $759.00
out the door and would have paid 1K.
As to what one would bring on the forum here or an auction site remains to be seen because I have NEVER seen one offered up!
Radical has had the extreme pleasure of having access to TWO S4's and one of those (Tulsa I believe) was BOXED!!!! but being a die hard OM Collector he passed them on to a friend! (both guns)

.
What are there now Six NM Collectors out there now ??
