Gulf Coast Delights Texas Style that is.
Well since we have posted about Biscuits and Gravy along with Dump Cake. I thought I would post about the benefits of living along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Since last weekend was in the high 70s and cloudless blue skies Wifie and I took a trip to the Seafood Markets and Seafood Restaurant. I wanted to look at a Airplane for sale that was in the area. To get the Wifie's interest I told her we would go to one of the close by Seafood Restaurants. A "Happy Wife Makes For A Happy Life" :D
So after making pigs of ourselves we went to one of the many seafood market. While there we bought a 3#Flounder, 4#Red Snapper, and 1# of Lump Crab Meat. I already have lots of 15-20 and 30-35 count Gulf Shrimp in the freezer.
Any way here are the results of our trip. It has been a SEAFOOD Extravaganza type of week
OH by the way the Plane was a piece of JUNK with a Capitol J.

All of these Gulf Coast Delights were prepared by Chef WJ.
The Red Snapper is Dying to be baked smothered in a Creole Shrimp Sauce. :D
Crab Stuffed Flounder.

Angel Hair Pasta with a Shrimp and Crab Cream Sauce.

A Little Stuffed Flounder, Pasta, and Broiled Stuffed 15 count Shrimp on my plate. :D

Looks marvelous, Jim! We get down to the Alabama gulf coast about once a year and indulge. Eating good seafood out is great, but honestly we enjoy the stuff bought at market and prepared ourselves as much or more. My brother is retiring from UPS in January, and he and his wife have already bought a house in Gulf Shores and are totally relocating there, so I should have more ready access to gulf goodies!

Love the fresh seafood!

My son vacations annually at some beach destination,, and fresh seafood is one of the main reasons. I spoiled him as a kid with my bringing it back from my many diving trips.

All that above looks delicious!!!!!!!!!!
