Today was our Senior Saints lunch at my church, and guess who was the speaker for today?

Yep, yours truly. Theme was "Something old, something new."

I was asked to give about a ten minute devotional message. Sort of went over a minute or two, but guess I did O.K.

I'll bet you gave an interestingly good talk Bob, and am sure nobody in the congregation would give you any dissenting feedback at all.... what with that Ruger .44 strapped on your hip.

Seriously, would you post some of your content highlights?

I know I would have enjoyed listening to your Talk. I'll bet it was as good as you Wright, (no pun intended)

Gladly!

The theme for our luncheon was "Something old, something new."

That being the case, I used the airplane as an example of evolution, from the Wright Brothers (My mother and daddy have five children, two boys and three girls. So, yes, I was one of the Wright brothers.) Flyer through the DC-3 and the DC-10. Man's inventions through the ages start primitive and evolve into something modern.

On the other hand, God's laws and precepts have never changed. Based on God's covenant with Noah, through the giving of the Commandments, God's purpose and promises have never changed.

God literally told His people, "Don't do these things, for so did the people in the land before you, and the land became polluted."

Ended with Malachi 3:6: I am the Lord, I change not..........

P.S. It was a .45 Blackhawk.
